This service is for you if:
- You've purchased and completed the Native Garden Consultation and are ready for a full DIY plan with detailed guidance for each step of your project.
 
- The Basic Native Garden Design with sketch and simple instructions just aren't quite enough for you to bring your project to life—you like a fully baked plan with step-by-step instructions to ensure success.
 
What you can expect from me after purchase:
 
✏️ The Design Drawings:
 
- I will create a basic sketch to show roughly what it will look like when your site is planted and established (same as the Basic Native Garden Design)
 
- Also included, is a detailed overhead schematic of your space to be used as a planting map showing each species with a code, where each should be planted, number of plants needed, spacing, etc.
 
📋 Master Plan:
 
- PLANT LIST: You will receive the final plant list used in the drawing with suggestions for sourcing (*note: plant availability will vary, this is meant to help, but not be a definitive source guide).
 
- SITE PREP RECOMMENDATIONS: This includes plans for site preparation, including recommendations for removal of existing plants like ornamentals, turf grass, or invasives (with several options for removal), as well as the occasional soil amendments to set us up for success in restoring native habitat without going overboard.
 
- PLANTING GUIDANCE: This includes recommended timing for planting, installation best practices like important considerations when grouping plants together, as well as detailed planting instructions including density and appropriate tools for the job.
 
- MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE: This includes instructions for maintenance of the planting for the first few weeks, months, and years and will include guidance such as watering, pruning, and mowing schedules.
 
⏰Timeline:
 
- Within 3 business days: I will reach out to ask a few questions related to the initial consultation, to confirm the light and soil conditions as well as native species / colors / textures you may have a preference for (it's okay if you don't!).
 
- Within 2-3 weeks of confirming any final details, I will email your design drawings, master plan, and schedule our 1-hour plan review video call.
 
- Within 2 weeks of design and plan delivery, we will schedule the review call to finalize the design and answer any lingering questions.
 
- I will send the final Master Plan to you within 1 week of our call.
 
- This project comes together in 4-6 weeks total.
